Rewind

When the lights hit different and time stands still

Helia .

Some nights take you back. Back to the glow of arcade screens, the hum of machines, and the neon haze that made everything feel like a waking dream. Helia stepped into that world — a place suspended between decades, where time slows down and colors speak louder than words. This series is a visual rewind, capturing raw emotion under flickering lights. Every frame holds a piece of that strange, electric nostalgia we chase but never quite find.

Elektra

The same lights, a different story. Elektra brought her own energy to the arcade — bold, magnetic, unapologetically present. Where Helia whispered, Elektra declared. Yet both exist in the same universe, somewhere between the real and the forgotten. This is what happens when portraiture meets nostalgia: a collision of color, mood, and memory. A world where everything feels stranger, bolder, endlessly alive. No save points. Just the moment.

Two faces, one imagined era. This project was born from a simple desire: to capture the essence of the 90s through the eyes of those who never lived them. The arcade becomes more than a backdrop — it’s a silent witness to a youth that only exists in our memories and screens. Between neon and pixels, Helia and Elektra remind us that nostalgia has no age. It’s felt, lived, photographed. Welcome to the Upside Down of our collective memory.
